The Crime Doesn't Stop in New Orleans

On Thursday, January 7, 2011 at or about 8:10 p.m., Detective Nicholas Williams manning unit 1526, had the occasion to investigate a signal 34S, relative to Aggravated Battery (shooting), in the 1400 block of Lesseps Street.

Upon arriving on the scene at or about 8:30 p.m., Detective Williams was informed, that a unknown black male was found in the alleyway in the 1400 block of

Lesseps Street
suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, and an unknown black female was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds inside of a blue GMC van at the intersection of
Lesseps Street
and
North Villere Street
. Both victims were transported to

A local hospital via New Orleans EMS unit.

Detective Williams relocated to University Hospital attempted to interview the unknown victims but were met with negative results. Both victims were in surgery.
