Simple Robbery in New Orleans

On January 8, 2011, at about 4:43 pm, officers were dispatched to a Simple Battery at Gov. Nicholls & Marais Street. Upon arrival, it was learned from the victim at approximatley 4:30 pm, he left the laundromat on Marais St to walk back to his residence on Esplanade Avenue. As he neared the intersection of Gov. Nicholls & Marais Street, he was approached by two black males on  bicycles. The victim, who is very short,(possible midget) was hit in the chest with one of the bicycles, knocking him to the ground.
The two subjects jumped off their bicycles and told the victim they were going to rob him and take his wallet. One of the subjects punched the victim in his upper body and grabbed at his rear pocket, where his wallet was kept. The victim managed to roll away from the subjects as they circled him, grabbing and pushing him around. The victim grabbed one of the  perpetrator's bicycle and toss it at them, allowing him to run away.
The victim ran up Marais Street while the two perpetrators fled down Gov. Nicholls towards North Claiborne.
The victim stated he recognized the two perpetrators from the  area of 1400 North Claiborne where they would often harass and throw rocks at him. Officers canvassing the area for the described perpetrators  located a possible suspect outside of 1448 North Claiborne. Through further investsigation both juvenile subjects were located. The victim identified both juveniles via a show up identification.
